Class Details: In this class you will start to knit your own 9” square Shetland Lace hap (shawl). You will be shown the traditional way of how the pieces are knitted and then grafted (sewn) together. Once armed with these skills, you will be able to knit any size of hap you desire in the future. The advantages of using a knitting belt will be demonstrated and discussed.
What to Bring: 1 ball of lace weight yarn. 3.mm x 2 dpn (30 cm in length if you would like to try a knitting belt) or a circular needle 80cm. Blunt Tapestry needle.
