Workshop Description: Knitted mittens can be simple or complex to make. In this workshop you will learn to knit mittens made for your own hands. The thumb is knitted first and that make these mittens easy to knit. At the same time you will learn to adjust patterns to different sizes and yarns. What to bring: You can use whatever wool yarn you like to make mittens. But for the purpose of this workshop bring worsted weight wool yarn (like Létt lopi) with 18 stitches to 10 cm or yarn for 4½ mm needles. As we will be knitting mittens is it better to use finer needles so bring 3½-4 mm double pointed needles or 2 circular needles in the same size. It´s also good to bring the same kind of needles in a half or whole size smaller for the cuff. You can also purchase yarn and needles from the teacher.
